SECTION 2 - NAR & TRIPOLI CERTIFICATION AFFIRMATION

  1. Certification Accuracy: You explicitly affirm and warrant that any High-Power Rocketry (HPR) certification information provided to us—including your membership status, member ID number, and certification level (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3)—with either the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) or the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) is accurate, truthful, and active.

  2. Impulse Limits: You agree to only purchase high-power rocket motors or reload kits that fall within or below your active, verified certification level.

  3. Verification Rights: We reserve the right to verify your certification status with NAR or TRA prior to order processing. We reserve the right to cancel or hold any order if certification cannot be verified or if false/fraudulent information was provided.

SECTION 3 - LEGAL COMPLIANCE & SAFETY CODES

By accessing our Site or purchasing products, you agree to:

  1. Statutory Compliance: Comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws, statutes, rules, ordinances, and regulations governing the purchase, possession, storage, transportation, and ignition of rocket propellants, energetic materials, and pyrotechnic igniters.

  2. Safety Codes: Maintain strict adherence to the NAR High Power Rocket Safety Code, Tripoli Rocketry Association Safety Code, NFPA 1127 (Code for High Power Rocketry), and applicable FAA airspace regulations (14 CFR Part 101).

  3. Permits & Waivers: Secure all necessary local fire authority (AHJ) permits, landowner permissions, and FAA launch waivers prior to igniting or flying any rocket motors purchased through the Site.

SECTION 4 - OUR PRODUCTS & HAZMAT RESTRICTIONS

  1. Product Representations: We make every effort to display the specifications, impulse ratings, and visuals of our products accurately. However, colors or product appearance may differ due to device display configurations.

  2. Product Modifications: All descriptions and specs are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit sales quantities on a case-by-case basis.

  3. HAZMAT Shipping: Rocket motors, reloads, and pyrotechnic igniters are regulated hazardous materials (HAZMAT). All shipments are dispatched in compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and carrier guidelines via ground freight services.

  4. Delivery Restrictions: HAZMAT items cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally, and may require an adult signature (18+) upon delivery.

SECTION 5 - ORDERS, BILLING & HAZARDOUS GOODS RETURNS

  1. Orders & Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. BuyRocketMotors.com reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its discretion. Orders are not accepted until payment is processed and written confirmation is dispatched.

  2. Commercial Resale: You represent and warrant that your purchases are for your own personal use and not for unauthorized commercial resale or export.

  3. Pricing & Accuracy: Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. Unless explicitly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, or HAZMAT surcharges. You represent that the billing and credit card information provided is true, correct, and authorized.

  4. Returns & Refunds on HAZMAT Items: Due to federal DOT regulations, hazardous materials safety standards, and strict chain-of-custody requirements for propellants, ALL SALES OF ROCKET MOTORS, RELOADS, BLACK POWDER, AND IGNITERS ARE FINAL. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on hazardous goods once shipped. Non-HAZMAT merchandise is subject to return solely in accordance with our Refund Policy [LINK].

  5. Damaged Shipments: Damaged or defective items must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery accompanied by photographs.

SECTION 6 - ASSUMPTION OF RISK & INHERENT DANGERS

  1. Inherently Dangerous Activity: High-power rocketry involves energetic materials, extreme pressures, rapid combustion, high velocities, and high temperatures. Misuse, improper assembly, negligence, or unauthorized modification of rocket motors can result in severe property damage, catastrophic injury, or death.

  2. Voluntary Assumption of Risk: By purchasing and using products from BuyRocketMotors.com, you voluntarily assume all risks (known and unknown) associated with the storage, assembly, handling, installation, ignition, flight, and recovery of rocket motors and related equipment.

SECTION 7 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, HAZMAT inspections, weather, or events outside our control. Once products are transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you. HAZMAT carrier fees are non-refundable once the shipment is dispatched.

SECTION 8 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Services—including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, product images, thrust curve renders, and code—are owned by BuyRocketMotors.com, its affiliates, or licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
