These are CNC machined out of 6061-T6 Aluminum and feature the following:

  • Four (4) Spot Drills 90 degrees apart on interior of bulkhead.  These spot drills allow the user to drill a hole to accept an ejection charge cannister.  They are just spot drilled, and not drilled all the way through, which means they can be used as-is with no ejection charge cannister, if desired.
  • "Step" for easy alignment within coupler.
  • Crowned edge to facilitate insertion into airframe
  • Lightening Cut to decrease weight without sacrificing strength
  • Designed to fit the Kozmo fiberglass or carbon fiber coupler tubing of the specified size
  • 1/4" center drilled hole
  • Type II Anodized
  • Weight: 18 grams
  • Sold individually

Let's face it, some things don't always turn out as planned.  These bulkheads are nice, just not nice enough by Kozmo standards, so we're offer them at huge discount!  These "2nds" bulkheads are American Made, machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, Type II Anodized, and feature a rounded edge to facilitate the coupler/airframe interface, a 1/4" center drilled hole, lightening cut, and four spot drilled locators for ejection charge cannister mounting, or general ebay wiring.  These are fully usable, but expect machining marks and other blemishes.  While supplies last.

These are sold as "2nds" and are structurally sound and fully usable, but expect come machining marks and other blemishes.  Sold individually and 2nds are non-returnable.

    These Things are Awesome

Posted by Aleks on 24th Aug 2022

These bulkheads are extremely well made, and fit perfectly into an older fiberglass coupler I am using on a project. As for these being "2nds", I couldn't find any flaws that I didn't need to look really closely to see, and frankly, I'll be sticking black powder like 2 inches from these, so... These things are awesome, and kind of a neat deviation from stepped fiberglass. If I ever build another rocket this size (still debating that part), I'll definitely be coming back for more.
